Download and Install Updates

Prerequisites

INITI Playground must be connected to the internet to receive updates.
If you have not completed this step yet, see the Connecting to the Internet section first.

Open the Updates Section

  1. Open the UI and click the Settings tab at the top of the screen.
  2. Navigate to the About section.

This section displays general system information, including the current software version, hardware key, and update status.

Getting updates

  • Version – Shows the currently installed INITI Playground version.
  • HW Key – Unique identifier assigned to your INITI Playground system.

Connection Issues

If the system is not connected to the internet, an error message will appear as shown below.

Check your Wi-Fi connection or revisit the Connecting to the Internet section.

Install a New Update

When a new version is available, a notification appears on the updates icon in the top-right corner.

To install the update:

  1. Click the UPDATE button.
  2. The system will download and install the update automatically.
  3. INITI Playground will restart and launch the updated version.

Info

During the update process, the application may temporarily close or restart. This is expected behavior.
